Grace’s style of therapy is characterized as warm, approachable, humorous and firm. She understands that change is a difficult process and believes in creating a safe and healing place to process life’s difficulties. She helps her clients identify their strengths to help them feel empowered, teaches new skills that facilitate the process of change and holds them accountable for the work that they are doing together. In her view, clients are the experts of their own stories but it is her job to identify the obstacles standing in the way of clients reaching their goals so that they can work together to remove them. She is passionate about holistic health-mind, body and spirit- when working with clients she takes all aspects of who they are into account. She believes that everyone’s family history, culture and community has an impact on who they are now. Within therapy, Grace works with both couples and individuals, to process their past experiences while addressing the present issues so that clients can become the best versions of themselves.
